Canon EOS 7D announced

As already expected, today Canon has announced the EOS 7D digital SLR camera. With a horde of brand new characteristics designed to heighten every aspect of the photographic process, from still images to video, the new EOS 7D stands for a whole new class of camera.

Designed to be the instrument for sincere photographers and semipros, the EOS 7D features a new 18MP CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 4 processors, ISO range expandable to 12800, continuous shooting at 8 fps as well as full HD video recording. Additionally it comprises a new viewfinder with 1.0x magnification, 100% coverage and a 3 inch LCD with 920k dot resolution.
